PRIMARY IMAM/RESIDENT SCHOLAR
The ideal candidate must be a Hafidh-ul-Quran and an Aalim with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of Tafseer, Hadith, Fiqh, Ta’weel, Nasikh, Mansukh, Halal, and Haram, along with an understanding of the Science of Hadith and Jurisprudence, to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of an Imam and community leader.

SHAYKH UMER ANSARI
YOUTH DIRECTOR/ ASSISTANT IMAM
Shaykh Umer Ansari hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan where he completed his high school education and began his undergraduate studies. He was an active member of the Muslim community of Ann Arbor, engaging in and organizing Islamic education and dawah activities, while learning from the resident and visiting scholars. He successfully completed his BBA-Economics degree in 2012 from Eastern Michigan University (USA) after which he worked in the corporate world for a few years. He holds a double diploma in Usul al-Deen and Usul al-Hadith under Shaykh Dr. Akram Nadwi (UK) from Cambridge Islamic College.
In 2016, he traveled to Karachi to study classical Arabic and Islamic studies full-time and enrolled at the reputable Darul Uloom Karachi, Pakistan and successfully completed the traditional Dars-e-Nizami program earning him the Shahadatul ‘Alimiyyah (equivalent to MA Arabic and Islamic Studies) from Darul Uloom Karachi under the tutelage of some of the most esteemed senior scholars in 2022.
He has over four years of professional experience in teaching, curriculum development, student assessment, and training. He is passionate about teaching and mentorship and in his spare time he likes to work on his numerous translation projects and currently serves as the Youth Director/ Assistant Imam at NICSA.
