Our San Antonio Mosque was founded in November 2019 by a group of concerned Muslims to address the growing needs of the Muslim community in the northern part of San Antonio, Texas. As of now, we are currently renting a small facility within a shopping complex where we are providing a number of services to our local community. Alhamdulilah, by the Grace of Allah SWT, we have purchased the adjacent property of 7.25 acres property where we are building our future Masjid along with other facilities by the Will of Allah SWT. Please check our master plan tab in order to get an overview of the entire project.
Mission
The Mission of NICSA is to provide the Muslim community with a fostering environment that promotes spiritual and devotional growth and to inspire true and meaningful worship with the correct application of religious knowledge in a way that not only helps current believers grow in faith and virtue but also to foster an environment that is conducive for the future generations.
Vision
The Vision of NICSA is to glorify God by, firstly, sharing the Love and Mercy of Allah SWT in deeds and words, secondly, to educate Muslims and Non-Muslims alike of the proper Islamic theology and methodology which serve as the bulwark against terrorism, extremism, and antipathy, and thirdly, to build communication and understanding with other faiths.

NICSA Programs
PROJECTNew Masjid Construction
We are currently renting a small facility. Alhamdulillah, construction is undergoing for our future Masjid on a purchased 7.25 acres land.
We currently have a funding shortfall of $1.2 million. Of this amount, $500,000 is urgently needed to purchase materials for roofing, stucco, electrical work, HVAC, and other essential tasks to expedite the project. Additionally, we will require another $700,000 through February 2026 to complete the finishing work and obtain the occupancy certificate from the city, which will help us avoid a tax penalty for the past six years.
NICSAPROGRAMS & SERVICES
Marriage Services
NICSA provides Nikah and Marriage services for Muslim community members in accordance with Islamic guidance.
Counseling
NICSA provides counseling in accordance with Islamic guidance for Marriage, Family Relations, Divorce, and other areas.
Arbitration
NICSA provides services to resolve disputes amongst community members in accordance with Islamic guidance.
Islamic Will
If someone passes away without a Will, their assets will be distributed in accordance with local intestacy laws - not Islamic guidance.
Financial Assistance
NICSA provides financial assistance, on a case by case basis, to our community members who are in need of financial help and support.
Funeral Services
NICSA provides funeral arrangements, in conjunction with the other Islamic Centers in the City of San Antonio, for Ghusl, Janazah, and burial.
